The St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital held its 43rd Annual Telethon a little differently this year. On Saturday, July 18th, instead of hosting an in-person live telethon, most components of the broadcast were pre-recorded & pre-produced to comply with social distancing standards and CDC requirements. Usually, SC2 participates as a VIP on the phone bank stage, but due to the spread of COVID-19, the phone bank was managed by St. Jude staff members. Despite these challenges, this year the Central & Southern Illinois Chapter raised a whopping $9,018,619!
SC2 directly contributed $18,000!
Thank you to all who donate weekly to make this possible!

SC2 is a proud supporter of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital which is leading the way the world understands, treats, and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. No family ever pays St. Jude for anything because of the donations and support from local communities and businesses like SC2 and employees like you! St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital creates more clinical trials for cancer than any other children’s hospital – turning laboratory discoveries into lifesaving treatments that benefit patients every day.
